The roots of a strong South Bohemian construction company KOČÍ, joint venture reach into the beginnings of the 1990s, when the company was established, first as the limited company connected with the personality of a civil engineer Ing. Radek Kočí. He has been performing the major role here until today - the director and the chairman of the board.

The transformation of KOČÍ company into joint venture company dates back to the end of 1997. The company developed its position at the regional market by the merge with Písecká stavební a.s. the following year. The company has employed 200 people on average since the merge and the annual turnover comes app. a quarter of a billion. KOČÍ a.s. is 50% shareholder of the firm BETON Písek, plc.

Since the beginning of the company, KOČÍa.s. has kept the quality of work and has looked after the environment. They obtained the first quality certificate in 1994. The trend followed and other quality certificates continued – ISO 9001-2000 and environmental protection ISO 14001-1996 in 2003. The company improved working conditions for the employees by reconstruction of company garages in winter 2005. In 2006 KOČÍ a.s. received the Certificate for constructions and reconstructions of buildings including demolition works issued by the company BUREAU VERITAS QUALITY INTERNATIONAL.

KOČÍ a.s. cooperates with renowned Czech architects and top specialized firms in the orders. They try hard to get the best quality of the result of this cooperation. KOČÍ a.s. was awarded by PRESTA – Prestigious construction of South Bohemia for The physical training facilities and teaching spaces in Gymnázium Písek and for Multifunctional residential area in Čížová in 2005. At present KOČÍ a.s. has entered the competition awarded by PRESTA with the construction of extraordinary production hall of Alfa company located in Písek – Hradiště. Cross all your fingers for us!
